Project description: LEM Wrocław is a long-term project, the aim of which is to increase public awareness of electromobility. We want to show that electric motorcycles, being silent and ecological, are also worthy competitors for combustion motorbikes, both in terms of aesthetics and performance.
Year after year, the project takes a different form with the aim of revolutionizing another combustion two-wheeler industry. Examples include:
-LEM Napoli, electric city scooter for food delivery
-LEM Thunder, Electric Cross Bike
-LEM Photon, Electric Road Bike
One project will not cause significant changes to the benefit of the climate, however, LEM, achieving many successes in the international arena over the years, will significantly accelerate the snowball rolling from above, which is to increase awareness and develop electromobility in Poland.

We increase the performance score by optimizing the shape of the intake and exhaust systems. Thanks to the improvements made to individual parts of the car, as well as the vast knowledge gained in the field of electronics and autonomy, we made the RT11 project open the way for us to build another car, this time in electric technology.
We use modern materials for the construction of individual parts of the car, such as titanium, titanium alloys, and carbon fiber, which is a biodegradable material.

Project description: AGH Space Systems has been developing space technologies for years, such as planetary rovers, sounding rockets and gondolas of stratospheric balloons. The successes achieved by the Circle enable our members to acquire both competences related directly to the created technologies and soft ones developed during numerous presentations.
However, the goal of our Club is not only to participate in international competitions or develop the skills of young engineers and scientists, but above all to contribute to the development of science and space engineering. For this reason, this year we decided to put special emphasis on the development of research subsystems adapted to integration with a rocket, rover and nacelle of stratospheric balloons. They will allow for conducting innovative scientific experiments, the results of which will be presented at international conferences. However, the very process of their creation will allow for the development and testing of technical solutions that can be developed and used not only in space engineering, but also in geology, agriculture and industry 4.0, affecting the implementation of the sustainable development goals. The presented project covers the development of 3 research subsystems, which will be integrated with the stratospheric balloon gondola, rocket and rover, and will allow for carrying out innovative experiments in the field of e.g. biology, geology, meteorology, chemistry and physics.

A mobile robot moving on tracks will autonomously explore the area in search of garbage (plastic bottles, aluminum cans, crushed paper, plastic bags, etc.). Detection of these objects will be possible thanks to a vision system based on two cameras. It will be possible to implement an intelligent system for optimal and better operation. The robot will collect garbage to the “belly”, as did Wall-e from the Pixar movie, to which the robot will be structurally as similar (media). We do not rule out adding any additional functionalities of the robot from the movie.
It is worth noting that the project will be mainly implemented by me (Jan Brzyk), because it is my engineering thesis, and it will be a master’s thesis. In the team representing the NewTech AGH research group, I will find substantive, constructional and marketing support.
Why the project should win: My project should win because promoting the winning work will signal the problem of ubiquitous rubbish in the world. The prize money grant will be used to develop Project Walle, a further step towards a better, cleaner, more stable future for all of us.

Project description: Our project is a measuring stand for testing prototypes of direct protection equipment for medical personnel.
As part of the “Mask dla Medyka” campaign, we donated over 350 Subea Easy Breath snorkeling masks to hospitals in Krakow, transformed into improvised means of protection against COVID19 and other infectious diseases for medical personnel using 3D printing technology. Due to the next wave of infections, we want to develop a new version of the mask that will allow even greater comfort of use.
Improving the measurement path will allow you to better compare the effectiveness of different prototypes made in 3D printing. The biggest advantage of the project is the speed with which we are able to test new iterations. Anyone with access to a 3D printer can produce a ready solution.
Detailed examination of the gases flowing through the masks allows us to determine which design solutions ensure the greatest comfort of use. This is important because the concentration of carbon dioxide in the masks is higher than the environment and properly designed valves are able to lower it.
So far, one of our measurable successes has been the improvement of the masks used in action by tripling the CO2 retention to levels that allow long-term and safe operation. In addition, we have improved the valve production technology, thanks to which we will be able to produce several thousand of them a day. Improving the measuring path will allow us to further develop this technology.
Once the pandemic situation has stabilized, our measurement track can be easily used to evaluate changes in effort during physical activity. Oxygen consumption and the concentration of exhaled CO2 correlate with its intensity and duration.

in sparsely populated and hard-to-reach areas. The main idea behind the project is the use of innovative solutions in the field of autonomous aviation to build a reconnaissance system, which will also be able to establish its own communication channel in the area without GSM network coverage.
A combination of autonomous aviation systems with modern telecommunications technologies and systems artificial intelligence guarantees the interest of investors from the high technology industry. In addition to improving the effectiveness of medical services in sparsely populated areas,
the system can also prove invaluable in times of natural disasters – allowing for evaluation
before the flood, fire or earthquake hit the spot there are paramedics – it will enable them to recognize the area earlier and even make an attempt to contact with the injured persons staying in a place cut off from telephone communication.
Why the project should win: Ladies and Gentlemen, please imagine that you are in the mountains, on a lake or any other hard-to-reach area.
You are injured, have an accident, forgot your medicine or have been attacked by a wild animal. Creating a system that would allow the necessary medicine to reach you quickly can be what will save your life. A paramedic will most likely not reach you quickly, and an unmanned, autonomous drone could do it in a few minutes, establishing radio-video contact with the paramedic, creating a medicine or an antidote to a substance with which you had contact in the wild. Our system can save lives, or at least create a research and development base for such solutions. That is why our project should win.
